Prone versus supine

Prone means lying on your stomach; supine means lying on your back.

  1. That’s actually one of the few things I remember from seventh grade English class. We had a teacher who was determined to expand our vocabularies, and she was always giving us new (to us) words to look up and learn. Most kids hated it, but as a lifelong word junkie, I loved it. 🙂

    • Ah! Cool. I was like you; I loved language, and learning new things, and appreciated similar teachers I had who went above and beyond the curriculum to promote my development. 🙂
